We appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to get to know about our ministry through this letter.
We are Larry and Jeri Mercer, a husband and wife team that has been singing Southern Gospel Music for 35 years. We live in the Wallace area of North Carolina and are members of Sharon Baptist Church of Chinquapin. We are not entertainers, yet we both have a desire to be a blessing to you and your congregation. We have sung in many revivals, churches, homecomings and special events. Jeri does most of the lead, while Larry's talents are many. He sings the harmony parts as needed and plays several instruments during our concerts. He also does lead in a few song numbers of his own to create a little variety.
In the past we have opened up for groups such as Gold City, The Perry's, The Rex Nelson Singers, The Pheifier's and The Greens. It has been such an honor to have shared the stage with such groups who truly worship our Lord and Savior.
Our mission is to spread the work of Christ thru our music and testimonies and to be a witness for the Kingdom of God.
Its been amazing what the Lord has done in both of our lives, but mostly what the Lord has done in the lives of others.
We have been married since 1971 and our passion is to keep singing and traveling if the Lord allows, or until He calls us home.
